Tadlo Lodge

Tadlo Lodge has a spectacular setting perched above the Sexet River at Tad Lo waterfall with an incredible ambiance and great views of Tad Lo and Tad Hang waterfalls just below. Guests can enjoy the natural surroundings by sitting on their bungalow balconies, exploring by foot or elephant the local area or swimming in the clean and picturesque river below. With a wealth of activities, spectacular scenery and a perfect setting, not to mention quality accommodation in bungalows, a visit to Tadlo Lodge will be one to remember.

The resort is based on both sides of the Sexet River with a 350 metre path between each side. Guests have the choice of restaurant side or waterfall side, depending on their preference and can choose upon booking or check-in if there is availability on both sides.

Tadlo Lodge consists of 25 beautiful and modern Lao-style villas which are large and spacious. These bungalows are set throughout the large property, raised on stilts and come with private balconies with outdoor furniture.  Each bungalow is slightly different depending on the location within the resort; however all are exceptionally clean and comfortable with a fan, hot water bathroom and French, Lao and Cambodian paintings and decorations throughout the property.

Tadlo Lodge is home to 2 elephants which guests can ride (at a cost) and an orphaned otter which made itself at home in the large reception area and has become best friends with the resident black Labrador. These special details, together with the wealth of activities in and around the property including trekking, cycling and swimming, as well as the friendly staff employed from local villages, makes Tadlo Lodge a fun and unique experience in Laos.

Tadlo Lodge offers guests a wealth of activities from indoors to out. Complimentary Wireless Internet access is provided in the reception/restaurant area which offers stunning views, Khmer statues, board games and of course a delicious menu serving Lao, Thai, French and other Western cuisine.

During the high season, management and staff throw Barbeque parties which offer a fresh buffet in the out doors with sounds of the river and falls below and atmospheric lighting in the garden and trees surrounding the BBQ.

For a more active holiday, guests can enjoy the natural and beautiful surroundings with guided treks, bicycles for rent and elephant rides. The river can also be swam in (at guests own risk). The resort currently has 2 Asian elephants which have been saved from a life of hard labour and now live at Tadlo Lodge. Guests can watch the elephant bathing twice a day, at breakfast around 7:30am and in the afternoon around 16:30-17:00. Elephant rides are also available at US$10 per person for 1.5 hours (correct at time of writing).

The lodge also has a patong course where guests can practice a famous Lao pastime and has an open, flat plain for mini golf.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made within 8 days of check-in date will be charged 50% of the 1st night.
No-show on the date of check-in will be charged 100% of the 1st night.
