Pon's Arena Hotel Your Host

Mr Pon is a local success story. Born on Don Khong, Pon spent his early years after graduation working in a restaurant in Vientiane before returning to the serenity of Don Khong to try and make a business for himself. With no foreign investment or sponsors, Mr Pon set out on his own and built 4 guest rooms on his property and this was the start of Pon's River Guest House. Four rooms crew to 6 rooms after which the whole property had to be knocked down and rebuilt to keep up with Pon's vision as well as the growing tourist numbers. Pon's River Guest House is now a reputable establishment with a long history and 16 quality guest rooms. But things didn't stop here, after the success of his guesthouse, Mr Pon realised there was a lack of top end, quality establishments on the island. With this realisation, Mr Pon put all his revenue back into an investment and built Pon's Arena Hotel; the newest hotel on the island.

Mr Pon clearly loves his island home and is proud to show it off to guests. He loves the quiet atmosphere, free from discos and noise, but still having good accommodation and food and the opportunity for visitors to cycle around the island and experience local village life and natural scenery.
