Mr Suriya, the owner of Villa KangKhong speaks fluent French, English, Thai and Lao and will impress you not only with his language skills but also his hospitality and knowledge of Don Khong.

Born and raised on Don Khong, Mr Suriya studied French on the island when he was growing up and later became a French teacher at the local school. Retired from teaching, Mr Suriya cave up the classed to build Villa KangKhong where he and his wife still get to utilise their language skills in French and English with the foreign guests that stay there.
