The land which Thawan Daeng Guest House now stands has been in Miss Daengs family for generations, however in recent times, none of her extended family wanted the land so Miss Daengs cousins sold the land to her for a relatively cheap price because they wanted to leave Don Det and didn't see the tourism potential. Miss Daeng always saw good things for the island and the property and bought the land to build the bungalows. This lovely lady has a strong determination to not see her vision fail and her beautiful nature will make you feel right at home.
