Somphamith Guest House

If arriving on Don Khone by chartered boat, ask to be dropped off directly at Somphamith Guest House which is on the shore line. If the shore line is to steep at this point or the boat driver does not know Somphamith, ask to be dropped off at Sala Done Khone which is next door (to the left when facing the island from the river).

If arriving at the most commonly used boat landing for tourist boats, you will be 10 minutes north of Somphamith. Disembark and walk south (right when facing the island from the river). All guest houses are located in this direction and Somphamith is one of the first. It is located on the right hand side (riverside) directly after the prominent Sala Done Khone.

If arriving via the old French railway bridge which connects Don Khone and Don Det, turn left off the bridge onto Don Khone and walk 5 - 10 minutes to Somphamith Guest House which will be on your left hand side not long after Pan's Guest House and just before Sala Done Khone.
