Somphamith Guest House

Somphamith Guest House is small and basic but not without charm. This simple little guest house on the riverside of Don Khone has 6 guest rooms based in 3 wooden buildings raised on stilts with a large communal balcony on each building.

The warm and friendly owners; an older couple from Don Khone, in addition to the communal atmosphere and spectacular river views makes Somphamith Guest House a great place to stay for those on a budget and looking to meet fellow travellers. The large balconies encourages relaxing in the outdoors whilst taking in the Mekong views all the way across to Don Det Island.

Rooms are simple, but sufficient for a short stay. They come with a fan and mosquito net, plus a private cold water bathroom and guests can hire bicycles onsite to provide easy access for exploration around Don Khone and Don Det. Somphamith Guest House is located on the river, next door to Sala Done Khone and near the old railway bridge which connects Don Khone to Don Det.
