Somboun Guest House

Somboun Guest House is located half way between Champasak town and the famous UNESCO World Heritage listed temple; Wat Phou. Guest rooms are basic but clean, comfortable and colourful with a choice of air conditioning or fan. Rooms come with a very basic, attached, cold water bathroom. The guest house has a restaurant, shop and small market where guests can find essential items and local food including noodle soup.

Guest rooms are located in a modern house with tiled floors, which keep the interiors cool, and come with a double bed. Rooms are new and colourful with lockable cupboards and fresh towels provided. The basic bathrooms have a choice of western or squat toilet and only have a cold water, bucket shower.

The restaurant, shop and market on site, gives guests an insight into local life and provides essential items and cheap food.

The owners of Somboun Guest House own a small restaurant, shop and market next door. Guests can enjoy fresh local cuisine whilst sitting in the shade, or just have a drink and be fascinated with the local way of life. Essential items can be found in the shop.

Cancellations made within 8 days of check-in will be charged 50%.
No-show on the date of check-in will be charged 100% of the booking.
