Mr Phet has worked at Senesothxeune from the 1^st day it opened 2 years ago. Proud of the establishment and always welcoming, Mr Phet who speaks great English is only too willing to help you out and ensure a comfortable stay. He is originally from Don Khong but studied math in Pakse whilst working in a restaurant at night where he learnt English at the same time. This ambitious young man then went on to be a math teacher before returning to his home on Don Khone to work in Senesothxeune Hotel.

Senesothxeune Hotel is dedicated caring for the destination by not only having key tags installed in all guest rooms to minimize unnecessary use of electricity when guests are not in the rooms but also by sponsoring local sporting teams.

By having key tags, this ensures high energy uses and gas omitting appliances such as air conditioners are not in use when no one is in the room.

Senesothxeune Hotel also gives back to the local community on Don Khong by sponsoring boat racing teams and football clubs. By sponsoring such sporting teams, this ensures that the Lao tradition of boat racing continues to play a part in the local peoples' lives and gives equal opportunity to people and teams that may not necessarily be able to take part without the sponsorship. Sporting teams also help create comradeship amongst players and increases fitness, all of which creates a better lifestyle.
