Senesothxeune Hotel also gives back to the local community on Don Khong by sponsoring boat racing teams and football clubs. By sponsoring such sporting teams, this ensures that the Lao tradition of boat racing continues to play a part in the local peoples' lives and gives equal opportunity to people and teams that may not necessarily be able to take part without the sponsorship.
