Sala Don Khone

Sala Done Khone is based on the river front and is accessible by direct drop off from chartered boats. Passengers can disembark at the Sala Don Khone restaurant where you will find reception. The hotel is clearly named from both the river access and road access.

If arriving by tourist boat, disembarkment on Don Khone will usually be further north of Sala Done Khone (heading away from the railway bridge). All guest houses on Done Khone are located on this strip of the Island and walkable from the boat port.

If walking or arriving by bus or motorbike from Don Det, after crossing the old railway bridge, you want to turn left onto the road that runs underneath it on Don Khone (when facing Don Det you will turn right off the bridge). Follow this road up passing other guest houses and Sala Done Khone is one of the furthest away, yet only a 5 minute walk. Sala Don Khone is based on both sides of this road.
