Pon's Arena Hotel

If on a pre-booked transfer including minivan and boat from either Pakse or Si Pan Don, it is most likely you will cross the river from Hat Xai Khun on the mainland to Muang Khong Village on Don Khong. This boat crossing arrives directly at the riverside lined by guest houses and Pon's Arena Hotel can be immediately accessed by a short stroll from the few boat landing areas.

If arriving independently, you will either charter a private boat from Hat Xai Khun on the mainland to take you across to Don Khone and arrive directly at Pon's Arena Hotel or the sister property down the road; Pon's River Guest House. Alternatively, you will arrive at Ban Hat where the commercial ferry crossing is taking foot passengers, motorcycles and larger vehicles regularly to Don Khone and back. This ferry crossing arrives south of Muang Khong Village on Don Khong where Pon's Arena Hotel.
Whilst on the ferry or after arriving on Don Khong, try to ask any of the motorbikes or vehicles for a lift to Pon's Arena Hotel in Muang Khong. This is a short 5 minute drive to the right of the ferry landing.
