Champasak Accommodation Mr. Mo Guest House Location & Map

Mr. Mo Guest House

Mr Mo Guest House and Restaurant is located at the top of Don Det, on the sunrise side, amongst all the islands facilities and services aimed at tourists and not far from the boat landing. Situated on both sides of the street on a slight bend in the road, the restaurant is located on the river side and the guest house opposite in a light yellow building quite different from the rest of the guest houses which predominantly have bungalows.

Getting there

If arriving at the tourist boat landing at the top of Don Det in Ban Hua Det village, close to all tourist facilities on the Island, Mr Mo Guest House & Restaurant is within walking distance by following the road leading from the boat landing so the river is on your left. Mr Mo Guest House is approximately a 10 minute walk and you will first notice the guest house building which is where the road curves slightly to the left to go around the building. The restaurant is on the left hand side opposite the guest house.

If arriving from Don Khone via the old railway bridge, drive across the island by following the road off the bridge as it curves to the right and drives through rice paddies and beautiful scenery. When you get to the edge of the island again (or can't go straight anymore), turn left and follow the shore line towards the boat landing so the river is on your right hand side. Follow this road for approximately for approximately 5 minutes (drive) and keep a look out for Mr Mo Restaurant on your right which is more visible than the guest house when coming from this direction. The guest house is directly opposite but not was well sign posted from this direction. The entire drive from the old railway bridge to this section of the island takes approximately 30 minutes on a motorbike during the wet season when roads are poor.
