Kingfisher Ecolodge

The Comfort Bungalows are specially designed to maximise guests stay, to blend with, and be surrounded by nature, as well as to minimise the impact to the local environment.

These beautiful wooden bungalows, raised on stilts, are set individually on the wetland border, immersed by the trees and other plants of Xe Pian Forest. The 30 sqm room is separated from the spacious balcony (14 sqm) by a glass front wall. This special design allows guests to indulge in the beautiful scenery from both within the comfortable bungalows and on their private veranda overlooking the wetlands.

Guests have a choice of double or twin beds with the room having a ceiling fan.

The Comfort Bungalows have attached private shower and separate toilet area. With attention to detail and a strong ethic to protect the destination whilst optimising the beauty for guests, the shower room has been designed to have a view through the front wall allowing guests to enjoy the blue and green wetlands.

In keeping with Kingfisher Ecolodge's environmental commitment, hot water for the shower is heated using solar power and the bungalow is lit using an individual solar system or directly connected to the hydroelectric powered grid.

The Eco Rooms are a perfect alternative to those on a tight budget. In an equally beautiful location, designed to give guests a view over the wetland from each room, these wood and bamboo buildings are raised slightly and come with the choice of double or twin beds. Each room has a balcony with furniture attached allowing guests to enjoy the serenity of the outdoors and wetlands from their room. Rooms have a wall fan and shared facilities in a separate building outside.

Lighting in the rooms is supplied by a mix of solar power and grid electricity and each room has a power socket. 

The shared facilities are located not far from the Eco Rooms and provide guests with two toilets and two hot water shower rooms which are heated using solar energy.
