Inthira Hotel
Sustainability
This accommodation provider has taken action to address one or more issues (whether environmental, social or cultural) which will contribute positively to the long term viability of the destination and hence their site displays a Caring for the destination rating.
Main area of focus in Caring for the Destination:
Energy Conservation and Environmental Preservation
Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
Inthira Hotel has installed solar panels on the roof of their property to heat the hot water for guest rooms, the kitchen and other water outlets throughout the hotel. By utilising the sun to heat water; energy and associated costs are reduced and the subsequent environmental damage and resource use is reduced. When solar heading is not sufficient, the hotel has electric heating.
By staying in Inthira Boutique Hotel, you are helping with environmental preservation by reducing the need for gas and electricity when you use the luxurious rain showers each guest room features. You are also supporting a property that is using an initiative which is relatively new to Laos.
