Daovone Guest House is one of the closest guest houses to the famous and historical Wat Phou Temple which is UNESCO World Heritage Listed.
Daovone Guest House is situated at the intersection a short distance from the temple entrance where you can see the prominent, over the road sign saying "Welcome to Monument de Vat Phu". This location is approximately 2km from the temple itself and 6km from the centre of Champasak town and ferry crossing.
This location provides a quiet, local aspect to the area with some beautiful, traditional Lao houses and friendly people surrounding the guest house.

Getting there
From the ferry crossing in Champasak Town, come out and turn left so you head into the centre of Champasak town and heading towards Wat Phu and away from the primary school.
Continue straight along this road for approximately 15 minutes and you will come to a small intersection where the road can go straight ahead under a large, over the road, "welcome sign" to "Monument de Vat Phu" or turn left. From this intersection, you will be able to see Daovone Guest House which is actually on the road heading off to the left, on the immediate right hand side.
